Fillmore County Hospital

The primary health delivery facility in Geneva is the Fillmore County Hospital located at 1325 “H” Street.  Fillmore County Hospital was designated a Critical Access Hospital in October 1999, and, as such, is licensed for 25 beds in acute care. Many changes have occurred inside the facility to meet the demands for changing technology and equipment, as well as adequate care space.  In 1999, a new 10,000 square foot clinic and wellness room was added to the facility and in 2005 an addition was completed that included new surgery and OB renovations.

The hospital has approximately 110 staff employed with approximately 90 being full time.  The hospital has twenty-one registered nurses, eighteen licensed practical nurses, operating room technicians, radiology technicians, a pharmacist, and a dietician.

Services provided at the hospital include in-patient and out-patient care, OB, surgery, diagnostic x-ray, C-T and MRI scanning, stress testing, cardiac rehab, nuclear medicine, nutritional assessment/counseling, physical therapy, and a fitness center.
